Eric Bogosian, a multi-talented artist, gained significant recognition in the early 1980s for his impactful one-man theater pieces, earning multiple Obie Awards and a Drama Desk Award. Between 1976 and 1982, he wrote, directed, and starred in over sixteen Off-Off-Broadway productions, cultivating a reputation for intense solo performances. He also notably toured the Midwest with hip-hop pioneers Fab Five Freddy and the Rock Steady Crew in 1982. His Pulitzer-nominated play ‘Talk Radio’ (1987), in which he also starred, was adapted into a critically acclaimed film by Oliver Stone in 1988.
Bogosian currently continues his impactful work in television, starring as the venerable Daniel Molloy in AMC’s ‘Interview with the Vampire’ (2022present), a role that showcases his enduring talent and adaptability across diverse genres.
