iKon

iKon is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015, known for their chart-topping music and extensive global tours. After emerging from the reality survival shows ‘WIN: Who Is Next’ (as ‘Team B’) in 2013 and ‘Mix & Match,’ iKon, comprising B.I, Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne, and Chan, went on to make their official debut in 2015 under YG Entertainment. Their debut studio album, Welcome Back (2015), achieved significant commercial success, topping the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and producing hit singles such as ‘My Type’ and ‘Dumb & Dumber.’ This album sold over 260,000 copies across Asia and its tracks accumulated over 4.8 million sales, leading to numerous accolades, including the ‘New Artist Award’ at the 58th Japan Record Award in 2016. This early success firmly established iKon as a prominent group in the highly competitive K-pop industry.

Under their new label, the group immediately released their highly anticipated third studio album, Take Off, in 2023. Following the release of Take Off, iKon immediately launched their ‘2023 iKon World Tour ‘Take Off’,’ captivating audiences across multiple continents and demonstrating their enduring global appeal and strong touring presence. The group’s journey from a survival show collective to a globally recognized act is a testament to their consistent musical evolution, significant chart performances, and the individual contributions of its members, who have also pursued solo music releases and acting roles, enriching their diverse professional experiences within the entertainment industry.
