Nika Vodan

Nika Vodan secured the prestigious overall World Cup title in the 2020–21 season, finishing nine points ahead of competitor Sara Takanashi, a landmark achievement that underscored her capabilities at the sport’s highest level. This followed her debut in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup season in 2015–16, representing SSK Norica Žiri, where her exceptional talent and consistent dedication quickly established her as a formidable and prominent figure in women’s ski jumping. Vodan’s success continued into the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she earned two significant medals: a bronze in the women’s normal hill individual event and a gold medal in the mixed team competition, further cementing her status as a top-tier athlete. That same year, she claimed the coveted Raw Air title in 2022, solidifying her reputation for consistent high performance across multiple events.

Her career is marked by an impressive collection of podium finishes and individual wins across various World Cup events, showcasing her dominance on the international circuit. These victories include stops in Hinzenbach, Râ?nov, Ljubno ob Savinji, Willingen, and Lahti, alongside numerous contributions to team podiums and wins. In 2021, Vodan demonstrated her prowess at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, securing a silver medal in Team Normal Hill and a bronze medal in Individual Large Hill. Most recently, Vodan continued to excel at the 2023 European Games in Kraków-Ma?opolska, where she captured a gold medal in the Individual Large Hill event and a bronze medal in the Mixed Team competition.

Further affirming her consistent excellence, she also earned a bronze medal in the Mixed Team Normal Hill event at the 2023 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica, highlighting her sustained versatility and elite performance across competitive ski jumping disciplines.
