Sandra Ittlinger

Sandra Ittlinger was born on June 24, 1994, and began her volleyball career at the age of ten. Her early talent was evident, leading to a third-place finish in the D-Youth category in 2008. She quickly progressed through the ranks, demonstrating dedication to the sport. Her career includes appearances in CEV competitions, representing Germany at the 2011 CEV Youth Volleyball European Championship. In club volleyball, she played for Rote Raben VILSBIBURG during the 2012 European Cups. Ittlinger’s focus later shifted significantly towards beach volleyball, where she has achieved considerable success.

Throughout her beach volleyball career, Ittlinger has competed extensively on the FIVB and CEV tours. She has secured strong finishes, including a 4th place at the FIVB AGWC in 2012 and multiple 5th place finishes on the FIVB tour. A significant turning point in her career was announcing Chantal Laboureur as her new partner in January 2019, with the goal of qualifying for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. More recently, in 2024, she achieved a 1st place victory at an FIVB tournament in Xiamen with her partner Karla Borger, along with a 3rd place finish in another event, contributing to a total of $31,968.20 in winnings for that year and a career total of $159,745 on the FIVB circuit.

Ittlinger continues to compete actively, as shown by her participation in FIVB events in 2025. Her consistent performance and dedication have made her a recognized figure in the sport. She maintains a strong presence off the court, with partner endorsements and a significant social media following reflecting her influence and engagement within the volleyball community.
