The incredible sportsman Séamus Power is a professional golfer, who plays on the PGA Tour. He has competed at the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, and the US Open, and has represented his native Ireland at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Born and raised in Ireland, Power began playing golf at a young age. He later moved to the United States to attend East Tennessee State University where he played collegiate golf, winning five events including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship in 2007 and 2010.
Power turned professional in 2011 and started playing on mini-tours before he earned his Web.com Tour card for 2015. He became the first Irish player to win on the Web.com Tour after he claimed victory at the United Leasing & Finance Championship in 2016. He then travelled to South America when he was selected to represent Ireland at the Olympics in Rio. He went on to earn his PGA Tour card, and eventually won his first event at the Barbasol Championship in 2021. He broke into the Top 50 in World Golf Rankings when he claimed 3rd at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January 2022 and later that year he earned his maiden Masters Tournament appearance. He claimed his second PGA Tour win in October at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
