Professional footballer Presnel Kimpembe plays for both the French national side and Paris Saint Germain, having taken home a winner’s medal at the 2018 World Cup.
Kimpembe’s professional career started back in 2014 when he was just 19 years old. He made his debut for Paris Saint Germain, having come up through the club’s training academy and been hotly tipped as a promising young player. He has been a part of the team ever since, playing in the 2017 UEFA Champions League as well as in Ligue 1 games. He has recently signed a contract extension which will see him play for the club for the next four years, and his reputation as a strong and reliable player has also seen him become a first pick player for the French national side. In 2016 Kimpembe played in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, later joining the squad for the tournament and going on to win the competition alongside his fellow players. He is widely regarded as one of the brightest up and coming stars in the side, and three years after the World Cup was selected as part of the squad for the delayed 2020 European Championships. He played in all of France’s games in the tournament.
Most recently, Kimpembe has launched his own streetwear brand, PK3 Paris, and continues to put in stellar performances for both Paris Saint Germain and his national side.
