Cassius Stanley is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Detroit Pistons (NBA). He played for the Duke Blue Devils and scored 13 points in his college debut, helping Duke upset Kansas 68–66. In a 95–62 win over Miami on January 4, Stanley had 20 points and five rebounds. In a 98–96 overtime victory over rival North Carolina on February 8, Stanley had 22 points and six rebounds. Stanley was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team at the end of the regular season. Stanley shot 47 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range, averaging 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. After the season, he declared for the NBA draft in 2020.
The Indiana Pacers selected Stanley in the second round, 54th overall, at the 2020 NBA draft in November 2020. Stanley has signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers’ NBA G League club, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He competed in the 2021 Slam Dunk Contest. Stanley signed with the Detroit Pistons in September 2021. In October 2021, he was included to the Motor City Cruise. With the Cruise, Stanley averaged 9.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He signed a 10-day deal with the Detroit Pistons in December 2021. Stanley was re-acquired by the NBA G League’s Motor City Cruise on January 4, 2022 and signed another 10-day contract with the Pistons on January 8.

Malik Pope is a professional basketball player for the NBA G League’s Delaware Blue Coats. He was a member of the San Diego State Aztecs basketball team in college. Pope joined the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2018 NBA Summer League after going undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft. He began his professional career in August 2018, when he signed with the Greek team PAOK.
As a college freshman, Pope set a career high with 22 points and seven rebounds in a game against Colorado State, propelling him to the NBA Draft boards. He averaged 7.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as a sophomore at San Diego State. In March 2016, as he led the Aztecs to the NIT finals, he upped those figures to 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. After winning the conference tournament, Pope led San Diego State to an NCAA Tournament berth as an 11 seed.
Pope signed with the NBA G League’s Greensboro Swarm in January 2019. He had a game average of 6.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks. In August of 2019, Pope joined the Rostock Seawolves of the German ProA league. He averaged 7.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game in 13 games. Pope signed with the NBA G League Ignite in October 2021, before joining with the NBA G League’s Wisconsin Herd in December. The Delaware Blue Coats acquired Pope from the available player pool in January 2022.
