The creator of delicious three-ingredient desserts, which were a lockdown favorite on social media, Eloise Head is an influencer and self-taught baker from the United Kingdom. Since July 2019, Head has been the brains behind Fit Waffle, which produces recipes and ‘drool worthy content for every appetite!’ Head started an Instagram account called Fitwafflekitchen in March 2020, which was designed as an Isolation Baking Project after the UK went under lockdown. Due to the three-ingredient desserts needing just a few basic steps to make, the account became a global success throughout the coronavirus outbreak.
Head’s three-ingredient Oreo fudge recipe is an obvious standout in her baking arsenal. A video of her making the delectable treat, which just requires condensed milk, white chocolate, and Oreos, has received over 750,000 likes on Instagram and 2.6 million views on TikTok. Despite the term ‘fit’ in her Instagram handle, none of these viral sweets are very nutritious, but Head has said that it’s all about having a good time, and that the main point of the social media page has been to provide everyone with the chance to bake and make use of their free time at home.
Major publications including Newshub, Metro, MSN, and Insider ran complimentary articles about Head in 2020. Outside of baking, she is also a licensed Personal Trainer. Although Head works out frequently, she does so because she enjoys fitness, rather than to balance her diet. She is a proponent of ‘flexible dieting’, a common approach to nutrition in the fitness community, that essentially prescribes including any item in one’s diet while still sticking to calorie and macro goals.
