Petrolhead Joey Logano is a professional stock car racing driver, who competes in the NASCAR Cup Series, as well as in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion, and in NASCAR is the youngest driver to win a Nationwide Series race at 18-years-old, the youngest winner in Cup Series history when he won the 2009 Lenox Industrial Tools 201 at 19-years-old, and the youngest ever driver to win in both the Cup and Xfinity Series.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Logano began his racing career when he was six-years-old in 1996 competing locally in quarter-midget cars. The following year he won his first Eastern Grand National Championship in the Junior Stock Car Division. He continued to shine, and after competing in various Late Model races, he moved up first to FASCAR, and then broke into NASCAR in 2007. He was still only 16 but a rule change meant he could now race in the Grand National Division at that age. He finished his first season with five race wins, three poles, ten Top 5’s, and ten Top 10’s, as well as winning the championship. He made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in 2008 and made history when he became the youngest winner in the series by winning his first major NASCAR series race in only his third start. In NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, over eight races in five years, he clocked up one win, two poles, and five Top 10’s, while in the Xfinity Series, over 176 races run over 12 years, he secured 30 wins. And in the NASCAR Cup Series, after starting in 2008, he marked his first win in 2009, and won the series in 2018.
Logano regularly connects with his hundreds of thousands of followers and fans through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of his high-octane lifestyle. He has a dedicated YouTube channel, Joey Logano, as well as an official website, joeylogano.com.
