Danny Beard is a celebrated British drag performer and singer, renowned for their vibrant performances and unique artistry. Their professional journey began in 2016 when they auditioned for the tenth series of Britain’s Got Talent, where they showcased their exceptional talent and creativity, reaching the semi-finals. This early exposure laid the groundwork for a flourishing career in the entertainment industry, allowing Danny to connect with a diverse audience and gain invaluable experience.

In 2021, Danny participated in Karaoke Club: Drag Edition, where they captivated viewers with their charisma and stage presence, ultimately finishing in fourth place. This experience further solidified their reputation as a formidable performer in the drag scene, demonstrating their ability to engage and entertain audiences with their dynamic performances.

Danny’s career reached new heights in 2022 when they joined the cast of Series 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. As the sixth bearded queen in the franchise, Danny made history by becoming the first bearded winner of any Drag Race series. Throughout the competition, they showcased their versatility by winning four main challenges and impressively making it to the finale without facing elimination, a testament to their talent and determination.

In addition to their success on Drag Race, Danny Beard has expanded their artistic repertoire by appearing in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks in March 2023. They also joined BBC Radio 1 in March 2024, where they temporarily presented their own mid-morning show, further establishing their presence in the entertainment industry.
