Atle Lie McGrath

Atle Lie McGrath is a Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer and multiple race winner, actively pursuing further Olympic and World Championship accolades. After securing a silver medal in the combined event at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Val di Fassa, Atle Lie McGrath made his World Cup debut in January 2019. That same year, he also placed fourth in the downhill event at the Junior World Championships. He achieved his first career World Cup podium in December 2020, taking second place in the giant slalom event in Alta Badia, Italy.

Representing the sports club Bærums SK, McGrath is a key member of the Norwegian Alpine Ski Team, competing at the highest levels of international alpine racing. McGrath continued to build on this success, achieving his inaugural World Cup victory in slalom in March 2022 in Flachau, Austria. This was swiftly followed by his second World Cup win, also in slalom, later that same month in Méribel, France. His consistent performance earned him a spot on the Norwegian Olympic Team, participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

McGrath also represented Norway at the 2023 and 2025 World Championships, continually challenging for top honors on the global stage. Beyond his competitive pursuits on the World Cup circuit, McGrath has actively engaged in community work, partnering with organizations focused on avalanche safety. Through these collaborations, he brings crucial awareness to important issues within the skiing community, emphasizing his commitment to the sport both on and off the slopes. McGrath remains dedicated to his career, actively pursuing further Olympic and World Championship accolades as he continues to compete on the international circuit.
