Contemporary dancer Charity Anderson is best known for her appearance on reality TV competition World of Dance, reaching the finals of the contest.
Anderson has been dancing all of her life, taking classes and training whilst growing up in Utah. She won the National Preteen Champion title in ballroom dancing with her partner Andre Peñate, also winning the 2019 and 2020 United States National Amateur Cabaret Championships with her older brother. In 2018, Anderson appeared on the reality TV dance competition World of Dance with her longtime partner Andre Peñate. They competed in the junior category, choreographing their own routines and impressing the judges with their creativity and originality. They quickly became fan favourites as well as winning high prise from the judge, and they are the only competitors in the programme’s history to score a perfect 100 on a dance routine, which they did in the Duels round of the show. Anderson and Peñate reached the finals of the show, finishing third. Since the programme aired, her career has gone from strength to strength, being selected to tour as a backing dancer with Derek Gough and performing on stages around the world such as Dancing with the Stars and the World Choreography Awards.
With 155k followers on her Instagram page and a packed schedule of tour dates and performances, Anderson is one of the best known contemporary dancers working today, and now has a fanbase across the world.
