The acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer Brian Bahe is known for co-hosting popular comedy shows across New York City, including Butt Dream at the Rack Shack and the monthly Star Fuckers: Astrology But Make It Comedy at Brooklyn’s Union Hall.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Bahe’s unique cultural experiences whilst growing up Native American, Catholic and gay are the inspiration for much of his comedy. They were also the driving force that led him to pursue a career as a comedian after he fell in love with stand-up during his college years studying at Arizona State University. Now based in New York City Bahe continues to entertain crowds with his lively comedy gigs that continue to draw upon his identity and his navigation of America’s bustling capital as a self-described “not-rich, not-hot person”.
Bahe’s success as a top comedian has led him to sell out comedy shows at clubs and theatres across the US, including the Punch Line San Francisco, and the Good Good Comedy Theatre Philadelphia. He has also performed at some of the most respected US comedy festivals such as the San Francisco Sketchfest and the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin among others. In a sign of his swiftly rising profile, Bahe was recently interviewed by New York culture magazine Vulture.
