American Stand-up comedian and writer Tony Hinchcliffe is regarded as one of the best punch up writers for both TV and stand-up, highly-regarded by comedians and audiences around the world. In 2016 Hinchcliffe first hit screens with his comedy special One Shot. Premiered on Netflix, the one-hour show follows the comedian in a continuous shot and has since been famed as one of today’s most innovative pieces of stand-up comedy.
Since launching his career, Hinchliffe has become well-known as a talented roaster having worked on countless sets for Comedy Central Roasts. A popular guest on hit TV shows, Hinchcliffe has appeared on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and HBO’s Crashing. In 2017 Hinchcliffe headlined his debut theatre tour across the country and following its success, toured in England and Ireland during 2019. An extensive comedy writer, Hinchcliffe has written on shows including NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly and the one hour HBO special with Will Ferrell, Ferrell Takes the Field.
Many may recognize Hinchcliffe from his smash hit podcast Kill Tony, which has enjoyed over one million downloads and currently tours around the world, alongside his priceless pro-wrestling panel podcast The Store Horsemann, co-hosted alongside comedians Josh Martin, Chris Burns, Mat Edgar and Johnny Skourtis. A name to watch among the comedy circuit, Hinchcliffe tours alongside many of his comedian pals including Jeff Ross and Joe Rogan and regularly appears on his award-winning podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.
