Breaking into the music industry at only 15 years old, Ajram signed a recording contract with EMI in 1998 and debuted with the exceptional studio album ‘Mihtagalak’. Her mainstream breakthrough came in 2003 with the provocative Egyptian hit single ‘Akhasmak Ah’, a reinvention of her sound that led to worldwide exposure and recognition.
