Nick Jonas is known as one-third of the famous Jonas Brothers, but he is also a star in his own right. He scored a transatlantic hit with ‘Jealous’ in 2014, has released four solo albums, acted on Broadway, starred in major Hollywood films, worked as a coach on The Voice, and enjoyed success with various business ventures — including collaborating with John Varvatos on an exclusive brand of tequila. He has won numerous awards, with recent trophies including a 2020 one for “Sexiest Reality Judge”.
Jonas was just 13 years old when he released his debut album, a collection of Christian songs. Soon after, he and brothers Joe and Kevin formed what would become the Jonas Brothers, and Nick was still only 15 years old when they broke through in the States, thanks to a prolific touring schedule and a record-breaking guest appearance on Hannah Montana. They starred in their own Disney show and the two Camp Rock movies and enjoyed success with multi-million-selling albums such as 2008’s A Little Bit Longer.
The Jonas Brothers split in 2013, but by then, Nick had already embarked on a career away from the band, appearing in the Broadway musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He released his debut solo album in 2014, scoring a Billboard Dance number one with ‘Jealous’, and released a well-received follow-up, Last Year was Complicated in 2016. Despite his success away from his siblings, he reformed the Jonas Brothers with them in 2019. He has, however, maintained his solo career too, releasing a new album, Spaceman, in March 2021.
