Joe Jonas is known to millions of fans all over the world as one-third of the Jonas Brothers. But Joe has also established a successful career in his own right on several fronts: as a musician, actor, and television personality. His post-Jonas Brothers band, DNCE, enjoyed a worldwide hit in 2015 with ‘Cake by the Ocean’ and are still going strong today. He has also had solo hits with Demi Levato (‘This is Me’) and Khalid (‘Not Alone’). Among his recent acting accomplishments is a role in the 2022 Korean War drama movie, Devotion. He has also worked as a judge and mentor on The Voice in the US and Australia.
Joe is one of the middle Jonas siblings, and along with Kevin and Nick, he found fame as part of The Jonas Brothers in the latter half of the 2000s, releasing best-selling albums, starring in their own Disney Channel series and appearing in the popular Camp Rock movies. Slowly, however, Jonas began to find his voice away from the group, taking on other acting roles and releasing a solo album. In 2015, he formed DNCE with members of the Jonas Brothers’ backing band and enjoyed a billion-streaming hit with ‘Cake by the Ocean’.
In 2019, the Jonas Brothers reunited, releasing a new album and touring again to the joy of their devoted fanbase. In 2022, the reunion over, Jonas has returned to DNCE and other music and acting projects. He is one child star who has established himself as a serious creative.
