Ramy Ayach

Ramy Ayach, born Ramy Abu Ayach on August 18, 1980, in Baakline, Lebanon, embarked on his musical journey by participating in the Pan-Arab talent show competition “Studio Al Fan” between 1996 and 1997. He secured the first prize in the competition, marking his entry into the professional music industry. His debut studio album, “Ra2e3,” was released in 1998, featuring popular singles such as “Bghanila w bde2ela” and “la3younak bade ghane.” This initial success established him as a significant figure in Arabic pop music.

Following his debut, Ayach consistently released albums, including “Mo3jiza” in 1999, “Diwan Al Hob” in 2000, and “W al2ah” in 2001. A turning point in his career came with the release of “Albi Mal” in 2002, an album that further cemented his status. His 2004 album, “Ya Msahar 3eni,” contained the hit song “Mabrouk,” which became widely played at celebrations across the Arab world. Ayach’s vocal capabilities were further showcased in his 2007 album, “Habaytak Ana,” which led to sold-out performances at prestigious venues like the Opera Houses of Cairo and Alexandria, earning him the title “Amir Al Tarab” (the prince of Tarab) from the Egyptian media. In 2009, he released the duet “El Nas el Ray2a” with Ahmad Adawiya, which topped Arabic charts for a year.

Beyond his musical achievements, Ramy Ayach expanded his career into acting. His first leading role was in the 2015 pan-Arab thriller film “Paparazzi.” In 2016, he starred as Prince Omar Chehab in the drama series “Amir El Leil,” a historical narrative set during the French protectorate era in Lebanon. His performance in “Amir El Leil” garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards, including “Best Male Actor & Singer” at the Murex d’Or 2017. Ayach also composes music and plays several instruments, including the piano, oud, and bass. He is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts.
