Wave to Earth is a dynamic South Korean indie rock band that has made significant strides in the music industry since their formation in 2019. Comprising lead vocalist and guitarist Kim Daniel, drummer Shin Donggyu, and bassist Cha Soonjong, the band debuted with their single “wave” on August 23, 2019. Their partnership with Wavy, a label owned by renowned artist Colde, in 2021 marked a pivotal moment in their career, allowing them to reach a broader audience. The release of their first studio album, “0.1 Flaws and All,” in 2023, was met with critical acclaim, showcasing their growth as artists. Their participation in prestigious rock festivals, including the Seoul Jazz Festival and Pentaport Rock Festival, has further established them as key players in the music scene. In September 2023, they completed a sold-out North American tour, demonstrating their international appeal.
Continuing their momentum, Wave to Earth released their latest studio album, “Play with Earth! 0.03,” on September 6, 2024. With a dedicated fanbase and a commitment to innovation, Wave to Earth is poised for continued success, making them a band to watch in the evolving landscape of indie rock.
