Angelique Cabral

Angelique Cabral was born on January 28, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. She pursued her education at Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Musical Theater and French. Her professional career began at a young age with a commercial appearance at six months old for United Airlines. After her education, Cabral moved to New York to focus on her acting career. Her early professional work included appearances in daytime soap operas such as “Guiding Light” (2004, 2006), “All My Children” (2005-2007), and “One Life to Live” (2006-2007). She also appeared in several commercials for brands including Citibank, The Home Depot, Captain Morgan, New York Lotto, Blue Cross, and Toyota. Her print campaigns included Verizon, Western Union, Olympus, Redbook, FedEx, and Loestrin.

Cabral’s film debut was in the low-budget movie “Together” (2006). She has since taken on roles in various films, demonstrating her range across different genres. Notable film roles include Pam Niborski in the romantic comedy “Friends with Benefits” (2011), which achieved commercial success with over $150.4 million worldwide against a $35 million budget, and Angela Rayes in the comedy-drama “The Perfect Family” (2011). Her career progressed with guest appearances on television shows such as “Melrose Place” (2010), “Mad Love” (2011), “Happy Endings” (2011), “Two and a Half Men” (2011), “The Glades” (2012), and “Devious Maids” (2013). These roles allowed her to display her comedic timing and dramatic capabilities. In 2014, Cabral secured a main cast role as Staff Sergeant Jill Perez in the Fox comedy series “Enlisted.” She continued with guest roles in “The Mentalist” (2014) and “Criminal Minds” (2014).

A significant career milestone occurred in 2015 when she was cast as Colleen Brandon-Ortega Short in the CBS sitcom “Life in Pieces.” This role spanned four seasons until the show’s cancellation in 2019, establishing her as a recognizable figure in television comedy. Concurrently, Cabral expanded her work into animated series, joining the main cast of Amazon’s “Undone” as Becca Winograd Diaz (2019–2022). She has continued to work actively, with recurring roles in “Big Sky” (2022–2023) as Carla and as a voice actor for characters like Hazel Gonzalez in “DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms” (2021–2023) and Amaya in the Disney film “Wish” (2023). Her upcoming projects include roles in “For Worse” (2025), “Clean Slate” (2025), “The Neighborhood” (2025), and “Long Story Short” (2025).
