Brian Cox is a distinguished physicist and engaging science communicator, transitioning from a musical career to public education on particle physics and cosmology, inspiring audiences globally through television and live events. After achieving several UK chart hits as a keyboard player, Brian Cox transitioned into a distinguished career as a physicist and engaging science communicator, inspiring audiences globally through television, radio, and live events. Initially, Cox was a keyboardist for the rock band Dare, releasing two studio albums: ‘Out of the Silence’ (1988) and ‘Blood from Stone’ (1991). He then joined the dance act D:Ream, contributing to their success with UK chart hits including ‘Things Can Only Get Better.’ While pursuing his musical career, Cox earned a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Manchester in 1991.

His recent television series include ‘Brian Cox’s Adventures in Space and Time’ (2021), ‘Universe’ (2021), ‘Brian Cox: Seven Days on Mars’ (2022), and ‘Solar System’ (2024). He was awarded the Hawking Fellowship by the Cambridge Union in 2022.
