The Texas-born actor comes from a glamorousbackground, being the brother of 2008 Miss Missouri Candace Crawford. Aftermodelling for Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister in his high school years,Crawford shortly attended Pepperdine University, studying Broadcast Journalism,before dropping out to pursue a career in acting. Crawford made his debut inthe 2006 television movie Long Lost Son, playing the kidnapped son of lead starGabrielle Anwar, before landing the lead role in teen drama Gossip Girl,starring alongside Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.
