Chip Coffeys extensive career in the performing arts began with a substantial background in theater, encompassing over 150 stage roles. After completing his studies at Elmira College in 1976, he transitioned into leadership roles, serving as Artistic Director for Golden Apple Children’s Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, in 1978. He continued to shape young talent as Artistic Director for Stage Door Players in Dunwoody, Georgia, from 1990 to 1991, and subsequently founded and led Abracadabra Children’s Theatre at Onstage Atlanta from 1992 to 1997. Coffey then founded and directed Kaleidoscope Children’s Theatre at the Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1997 to 2000, demonstrating a consistent commitment to theatrical development for young audiences.
