Christian Majgaard is an international business keynote speaker and former business leader, whose decades of experience in marketing, branding and innovation have made him a world-renowned expert in his field. He is most known as the former Head of Global Brands at Lego, during which time he improved the company’s fortunes and helped turn it into the multi-faceted global brand it is today. He was identified by Alfons Trompenaars and Charles Hampden-Turner as one of the ’21 Leaders for the 21st Century’ in their book of the same name.
Majgaard served 25 years at Lego, during which his impact cannot be overestimated. After roles including Head of International Market Research and Head of EU Marketing, Majgaard took responsibility for the global brand, campaigns and products across divisions ranging from the famous Lego brick toys to the company’s Legoland theme parks. He was responsible for merchandising deals with film franchises including Harry Potter, Star Wards and Spiderman, and led the company to develop its output into the computer games market.
Majgaard has worked as a senior management consultant with PA Consulting, and now runs his own consultancy practice focused on marketing strategy and business innovation. He has worked with companies including Nokia, Nestle, Unisys, Heineken and many more, as well as holding a number of non-executive roles. He has written widely, and is a sought-after keynote speaker.
