Actor Evan Peters is best known for roles in series American Horror Story and Pose, and for portraying superhero Quicksilver in Marvel’s X-Men franchise. A multi-award winner and a fan favourite, he is one of television’s most famous faces and has earned critical praise.
After moving to Los Angeles during his teens to pursue acting, Peters made his professional screen debut as the title character in the feature film Clipping Adam. He went on to land roles in films including Sleepover, An American Crime, and Kick-Ass, and was seen on television shows including Invasion, Phil of the Future, and One Tree Hill. In 2011, Peters was cast in the role of Tate Langdon in American Horror Story: Murder House, the first iteration of the FX anthology series. He went on to appear in follow-up seasons including Asylum, Coven and Freak Show as part of the main cast, and has since become the most-credited actor in the globally popular franchise.
In 2014, Peters appeared in Days of Future Past, which became the highest-grossing film of the X-Men series so far. He has since reprised his role of Quicksilver in X-Men: Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, and in a cameo appearance in Deadpool 2. Other film projects have included Australian biopic I Am Woman, performing opposite Al Pacino in The Pirates of Somalia, and playing the lead role of Warren Lipka in acclaimed docudrama American Animals. Peters has won an iHorror Award for his work in American Horror Story and has earned Jury Awards at the Phoenix Film Festival and the Tahoe Reno International Film Festival for performances on the big screen. He has been nominated for over a dozen awards at ceremonies including the British Independent Film Awards, the Satellite Awards, and the Teen Choice Awards.
