Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx is an Academy Award-winning actor, singer and comedian. His illustrious career has seen him lend his talents to a variety of high-profile roles, from Jarhead to Miami Vice, and Baby Driver to Django Unchained. Foxx was honoured at the 2004 Oscars for his starring role in the Ray Charles biopic Ray, earning the coveted Best Actor award, on top of a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his performance in Michael Mann’s Collateral. Entering the annals of Hollywood history, Foxx is one of only three actors to achieve both in the same year, and to achieve the “quadruple award” crown – taking home Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA and Academy Awards in the same season.

Not only an on-screen success, Foxx is also an accomplished musician. Debuting in 1994 with Peep This, he returned to the music scene in 2005 with the smash hit album Unpredictable. Selling 2 million copies and earning two-times Platinum status, the album hit No. 1 on the Billboard Albums Chart. His subsequent releases have been similarly acclaimed, consistently placing in top spots in charts worldwide. Foxx has collaborated with Drake, Rick Ross, Kanye West and Twista, memorably contributing the vocal refrain to Kanye’s era-defining hit single ‘Gold Digger’.
