The wonderful Leon Rogers, who is also known as ‘The Destined Legend’, is a comedian, DeeJay, actor, and TV & radio personality. He has his own late night talk show, Later with Leon, on Fox32 and Fox Soul, and is a co-presenter of The Chicago Morning Show on 1075 WGCI. He has won the Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search, has been twice named Chicago Music Awards Comedian of the Year, and was a finalist on Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots competition.
Chicago native Rogers began his career as a stand-up in the mid-1990s, and has gone on to feature in several popular comedy shows, including Showtime at the Apollo, BET’s Comic View, P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy, Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza, Cedric The Entertainer’s starting line up, Starz’s Martin Lawrence First Amendment Stand-up, and Windy City Live. He has also appeared in a number of films, such as Barbershop 1 and 2, and the HBO original The Tuskegee Airmen, and on the airwaves he has co-hosted the sports talk radio show, Sports Unplugged.
