Norense Odiase is an American basketball player who began his professional career after playing at Texas Tech. He completed an impressive college career at Texas Tech, becoming the winningest player in the program’s history with 108 victories with the Red Raiders.
During his time with the Northern Arizona Suns’ Prescott Valley, Odiase averaged 5.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game across thirty-five games. In the 2019-2020 season spent with Prescott Valley, Odiase set a season-high of fourteen points in thirty-two minutes, played against the Salt Lake City Stars, later grabbing five assists in under half an hour against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. That season, Odiase impressively recorded double-doubles five times and scored double figures eight times. In early 2020, Odiase recorded a career-high efficiency rating in a G-League game, recording twenty-eight efficiency.
Odiase is currently playing with German Brose Baskets’ team Brose Bamberg for the 2020-2021 season, totalling eleven games so far during the season. In this season, Odiase has averaged 2.7 points with 2.2 rebounds per game. His high of the season was scoring ten points in fourteen minutes against JobStairs GIESSEN 46ers in early December. In January 2021, Odiase set his rebound season-high with five rebounds in only twelve minutes against EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
