Will Young

Will Young is an English singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to prominence after winning the inaugural series of the ITV talent contest Pop Idol in 2002. Since then, he has achieved multi-platinum album sales, numerous awards, and a successful career across music, stage, and television. After winning the inaugural series of the ITV talent contest Pop Idol in 2002, Will Young went on to release his double A-sided debut single, ‘Anything Is Possible’ / ‘Evergreen.’ Released shortly after his victory, the track became the fastest-selling debut single in UK history, selling over 1.1 million copies in its first week and establishing him as a significant figure in British music. This initial success was quickly followed by his debut album, ‘From Now On,’ which reached number one on the UK charts in 2002.
