The fabulous Maurie Sherman, who is better known by the name Damnit Maurie, is a radio personality, host, senior producer and entertainment reporter with Toronto’s KiSS 92.5. He most famously works on the Roz & Mocha Show. He is also a fixture in Toronto’s entertainment scene with his trademarked “Headcam” gracing such red carpets events as the Toronto International Film Festival, Much Music Video Awards, Juno Awards, and Canada’s Walk of Fame.

Born and raised in Canada, Maurie attended the Humber College from where he graduated in 1998 with a diploma in Radio and Television. He started his career in broadcasting working at both Mix 99.9 and CFRB as a board operator and then later as a producer. In 2001 he moved to Team 1050 where he worked alongside the morning show to create and produce comedy sections with the show’s co-host Mike Richards, and as the travelling tech producer working onsite at the Grey Cup and Indy races. He became the Morning Show producer at 92.5 Jack FM in 2003, and in 2006 joined 99.9 MIX FM as a senior producer. In 2008 he moved to Virgin Radio, working with the Mad Dog & Billie Morning Show, and then in 2011 he joined KiSS 92.5 as a senior producer/reporter, making a name for himself on the Roz & Mocha Show.

Maurie regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos about his life around broadcasting. He is also available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform.
