Scottish legend of the game – Kevin Gallacher, is a football pundit and former professional player. He played as a tricky forward from 1983-2002. Most recognisably, Gallacher was in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers, where he was part of the surprise title-winning squad for the 1994–95 campaign.
Gallacher started his successful career in Scotland with Dundee United. Due to impressing in Scotland, Gallacher went on to play in the English top flight for Coventry City and Newcastle United. He also graced the Football League with Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town. Due to his goals in club football, Gallacher made 53 appearances for Scotland, scoring 9 goals. His time with the Scotland National Team earned him the honour of being selected for the Scottish FA International Roll of Honour. By the time he ended his glittering career, Gallacher scored a commendable total of 106 goals in 430 games in both English and Scottish leagues.
