Will Bullard, often known as ‘Bull Bullard’, is a basketball player for the exhibition team, Harlem Globetrotters, known in particular for his dunking skills. However, Bullard is one of the most well-rounded players in the game, sought after for his ability to also shoot at range and keep the opposition on their toes.
After a difficult start in life growing up in foster care, Bullard was encouraged by his foster parent to start playing basketball as a teenager. It was then that he fell in love with the game, going on to play competitively in dunking contests. In 2008, he participated in the College Slam Dunk Championship and earned second place for his efforts. It was just the start of his incredible triumphs. In 2012 he participated in American Ninja Warrior for the first time, taking on the course without ever having seen it before. His athleticism is so impressive that he’s actually earned four Guinness World Records alongside his teammates.
Not only does Bullard excel for the Globetrotters, but he also runs a successful personal training business and the ‘Bull Body Project.’ Bullard’s intensive programme aims to focus not only on training the body, but also the mind, claiming that you need to be in the right emotional state to bring your body to its peak form. His tagline ‘get uncomfortable’ has inspired many to get into fitness, but Bullard loves the mentor kids in particular, hoping to give them the start in sports that his foster parent encouraged for him.
