Chelsea is a fresh pop artist who is making a big name for herself the world over.
Young Chelsea began belting out Barbra Streisand and Liza Minnelli songs at age 4, and at 5, was performing for crowds of over 5,000 people. A year later, Chelsea had her heart set on her dream of pop stardom and knuckled down to learn everything there was to know about American pop music.
As a teenager at L.A. County High School for Arts, Chelsea auditioned for a producer who was putting together an all-Asian girl group. The group, SX4 landed a record deal with major label BMG under the management of George Brown – the founding member of Kool and the Gang. SX4 enjoyed an unforgettable tour and the release of a successful debut album, before regrettably parting ways.
However, this was just the beginning of Chelsea’s journey in the industry. She quickly scored major air time on the MTV show, Top Pop Group. From here, she performed regular gigs, singing the national anthem for top-ranked boxing matches with the likes of Manny Pacquiao.
After dropping two back-to-back solo albums on her own label, the legendary producer George Brown came back into her life with a golden opportunity. He was looking to develop top talent for his brand-new label, Astana Music Productions. George offered Chelsea a record deal in 2017 and the both of them headed into the studio to create what would ultimately be her next single, ‘King Size’. Perhaps one of Chelsea’s proudest works, the track celebrates a new found freedom and musical expression.
With her show-stopping voice and new image, Chelsea is ready to set the industry ablaze.
